Who we are and how this policy works with Fora's

Seize the Bite Travel operates as an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. (“Fora”). When you use Fora’s websites or booking tools, or when information is collected through Fora’s technology, Fora’s Privacy Policy applies and this notice supplements it. If this notice ever conflicts with Fora’s Privacy Policy for activity on Fora’s sites or systems, Fora’s policy controls. Fora’s latest policy and its “Do Not Sell or Share” instructions are published on foratravel.com.

Scope

This notice covers personal information we collect and use when we advise you, create quotes and proposals, request rates or amenities, and arrange travel with hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, insurance providers, rail companies, or other suppliers. When you interact directly with Fora websites or services, Fora’s policy applies in addition to this one.  ï¿¼

What we collect

We collect information:
   •    Directly from you, for example your name, contact details, traveler profiles, dates of birth, passport details when required for booking, loyalty numbers, preferences, special occasion notes, accessibility or dietary needs, payment instructions, and messages you send. Fora’s policy lists these categories and includes sensitive identifiers like passport numbers.  ï¿¼
   •    Automatically through Fora’s sites or tools that I use, for example device and usage data, cookies, and analytics. See Cookies and tracking, and review Fora’s cookie choices.  ï¿¼
   •    From inferences that help tailor proposals, for example preferred cabin types or hotel styles.  ï¿¼

You can decline to provide certain data, however some bookings cannot be completed without required information.

How we use information

We use personal information to:
   •    Plan and deliver trips, quotes, holds, reservations, changes, and support.
   •    Operate my advisory business, for billing, records, customer service, and compliance.
   •    Improve proposals and content, for example by noting preferences.
   •    Communicate with you about confirmations, deadlines, policy updates, and tips.
   •    Market relevant offers that match your stated interests, with simple opt out options.

These purposes mirror Fora’s listed purposes, like product delivery, operations, support, communications, marketing, and advertising on Fora’s web properties. 

How we share information

We share your information only as needed to arrange and support travel, for example with:
   •    Travel suppliers such as hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, rails, DMCs, and insurance providers.
   •    Payment processors when you authorize a transaction.  ï¿¼
   •    Fora and its service providers to run advisor tools, process bookings, prevent fraud, and comply with law.  ï¿¼
   •    Law enforcement or legal process when required.  ï¿¼

Fora’s policy explains additional disclosures on its websites and systems, including the role of analytics and advertising partners, and when some disclosures may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state laws, with opt out paths described in that policy.

Cookies and tracking

When you visit Fora’s websites or advisor tools, Fora, its providers, and third parties use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for analytics, personalization, security, and advertising. Fora honors Global Privacy Control signals for opt out where recognized by law, and does not respond to legacy Do Not Track signals. You can manage cookie choices through Fora’s banner and follow the opt out steps in Fora’s policy.

Your choices and rights

    •    Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time. Transactional messages may still be sent, for example booking updates.  ï¿¼
   •    Access, deletion, correction, portability, and opt out requests. If your data was collected via Fora’s websites or systems, submit requests to privacy@foratravel.com. If your data was collected only through our direct advisory relationship, contact us using the details above and we will assist, including by coordinating with Fora when appropriate.  ï¿¼
   •    Targeted advertising and “sale” or “sharing” opt outs on Fora’s websites. Follow the steps in Fora’s policy, including cookie controls and GPC. 

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for trip delivery, legal or tax obligations, dispute handling, and business records, then we delete or de-identify it in line with applicable rules. Fora follows a similar purpose-based retention model for data it controls. 

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to help protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, so please protect your accounts and devices. Fora applies commercially reasonable safeguards on its systems as well.

International travel and transfers

Travel often requires sharing data across borders to complete bookings or guest services. Fora is a United States company, and personal information processed through its services may be transferred to the United States and other jurisdictions.

Children's privacy

My services are intended for adults. If I learn that I collected information from a child under 13 without verified consent from a parent, I will delete it. Fora’s website is not intended for children, with similar commitments. 

European Economic Area Notice

Fora states that its Company Services, including its website, are not targeted to individuals located in the EEA. If you still choose to use Fora’s services from the EEA, your data will be transferred to the United States and possibly other jurisdictions where Fora’s partners process information. 

California and other U.S. state disclosures

Fora explains how it uses cookies and third party tools that may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some state laws, and provides opt out instructions, including Global Privacy Control support and a dedicated contact route. See Fora’s policy for those details and use privacy@foratravel.com to submit requests that relate to Fora-managed data.

If I recommend or link to third party services, their privacy practices apply. Please review their privacy notices before sharing data. Fora’s policy includes similar guidance. 

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect changes in services or law. We will post the new effective date at the top. Fora updates its own policy on its site and notes the last modified date for transparency.
